Dominic Eckersley, artistic director, has participated in masterclasses with William Christe and members of Les Arts Florissant, Marylyn MacDonnald, Enrique Gatti, Han Tol, Paul Lenhoots and Phoebe Carrai. He studied Harpsichord at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London, the Aaron Copland School of Music in Queens, New York and with full scholarship at Mannes College in New York, where he was the Louise Crane Foundation/Silvia Marlow Scholar. Dominic Eckersley studied with such artists as David Roblou, Christopher Kite, Raymond Erickson, Arthur Haas, and studied Baroque Oboe with David Reichenberg and Anthony Robson. Dominic Eckersley was a scholarship recipient at the International Baroque Institute in Cambridge, MA.
Dominic Eckerlsey has been recorded by the BBC Radio and various television stations in the United Kingdom including Central Television and, amongst others, for CNN, Channel 11 and Norddeutsche Rundfunk in the United States in addition to RBB in Berlin, and has guest lectured at the Federal University of Rio Grande so Sul, Porto Alegre, Brazil, the CUNY Graduate Center and the Aaron Copland School of Music at Queen’s College, New York in addition to Augusta College, Georgia.
